Today many choirs were gathered at our Monument of Freedom, to say last goodbyes to one of the most amazing and legendary Latvian choir conductor- Imants Kokars.
He died at age of 90. It was so weird to see politicians and his coffin in the last march! Everyone , including us, sang this sing with this video on the big screen!
Breathtaking and epic song and Legendary man!May your soul rest in heavenly peace!
I am just sad, that I won’t experience his conducting of this song anymore!
